Starting June 13, the Dunbar Library Group Study Room will be closed for renovation throughout the summer. The new & improved Group Study Room will open Fall Quarter ’05.
During the summer, group study space is available on the Dunbar Library Fourth Floor, or small groups can meet in Room 216 Dunbar. After June 22, Room 441/442 Dunbar is open for Group Study.
This renovation project will update the room with-
- New, more comfortable & versatile furniture
- Space for individual and group study
- Brighter lighting
- A coffee bar with café area
- Expanded popular fiction collection
- Sound-absorbing floor and ceiling materials
This redesign was initiated to modernize the space and meet student needs as more class assignments involve group collaboration
