Applying For a Practicum
Practicum Candidates Should Have the Following Skills and Abilities:
- Strong commitment to public service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible work schedule
When to Apply
We offer practicum opportunities year round. When applying for a practicum,
it is important that you follow the guidelines set forth by your graduate program.
It can take several months to set up a Practicum, so it is important to apply well
in advance of the time period in which the Practicum will take place. Try applying at
the beginning of the quarter or semester before the quarter or semester in which you wish to
conduct your practicum.
