Robert Patterson

Robert Patterson, the oldest of the Patterson boys, was mustered into the 11th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company G, in the rank of 2nd Lientenant for a 3-month enlistment in the rank on April 26, 1861.  He was 25 years old. 

The 11th OVI was comprised of men from Miami, Clinton, Hamilton, Montgomery, and Columbiana counties.  Men were enrolled in the regiment from April 15 to April 25, 1861 and mustered into service on April 26, 1861 at Camp Dennison, near Columbus, Ohio.
