Most of us remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when we heard about the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. And not hearing about it was virtually impossible, as it seemed to be the topic in the forefront of every mind and every news outlet.

Wright State’s own student newspaper was no exception. Take a look back 12 years ago—can it really have been that long?—to see how the news of 9/11 was addressed in The Guardian. (Click on an image to enlarge it to a readable size.)

The above images were scanned from an original paper copy of the September 13, 2011, issue of The Guardian, from the University Archives. We have has issues of The Guardian dating back to 1965.
