Thu09Mar The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney (Book Club)
Winans, 3510 Pentagon Blvd, Beavercreek; 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Friends of the Wright State University Libraries are pleased to announce selections for the 2016-17 Unwin(e)d Book Club. Join us at 5:30 p.m. at Winans in Beavercreek on Pentagon Blvd, September 8, to discuss The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney. Snacks will be provided and treat yourself to wine, coffee or chocolate as we discuss debut novels by lesser-known authors. No subject is off the table. This is not your mother's book club.

The Nest is a story about the power of family, the possibilities of friendship, the ways we depend upon one another and the ways we let one another down. In this tender, entertaining, and deftly written debut, Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney brings a remarkable cast of characters to life to illuminate what money does to relationships, what happens to our ambitions over the course of time, and the fraught yet unbreakable ties we share with those we love.

Book club is free and open to the public. The book is available to purchase at the Barnes and Noble University bookstore on our main campus (20% discount with your Wright1 or Friends of the Libraries card!).
