What is Google Scholar?

You may be prompted to pay for documents found through Google Scholar. The University Libraries have already paid for many, but not all, of these documents. Follow the steps below to get this material from the Libraries' web site.

Step One: Search Google Scholar

Search Google Scholar to find potential resources for your topic. Visit our Research Guides by Subject page for specific research assistance.

Step Two: Getting to Books and Articles


If you do not find the journal in our online list or catalog, order the article through Interlibrary Loan.

Step Three: If you need more help

If you need help locating Google Scholar references, assistance using the Libraries' web site, or any other assistance with your research question, help is available.
