LYRASIS eBook Expo – 4th session, virtual attendance option

On Tuesday, October 5th LYRASIS is hosting the 4th in its eBook Expo series. This free event with both in-person and virtual components will look at the timely topics of patron driven acquisition and discovery of ebooks.   Speakers include:

  • Samuel Klein, Wikimedia Foundation Trustee and Director of
    Outreach for One Laptop Per Child
  • Mike Sweet, CEO, Credo Reference
  • Timothy Cherubini, LYRASIS’ Program Director for East Region
    Services and LYRASIS Shared eBook Collections Librarian

Date: Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

Time: 9:45 AM – 3:30 PM, with an optional early bird session beginning at 8:45 am

Virtual broadcasts of the patron driven acquisitions and discovery programs begin at 9:45 AM and 2:30 PM respectively and will run approximately 1 hour.
