Passing on more news of free content from Oxford University Press. This time it is to celebrate the launch of Mississippi Scholarship Online. See below for more details.
We are thrilled to announce that Mississippi Scholarship Online has launched on University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO)! The University Press of Mississippi is the sixteenth press to join UPSO and brings content in the areas of comic studies, popular culture, film, television, black culture and history, southern history, southern literature, African American literature, American music, and Caribbean studies.
In celebration of the launch of Mississippi Scholarship Online, we’ve made a selection of chapters from some of the press’ key titles free and available for one month.
The UPSO platform that supports Mississippi Scholarship Online hosts nearly 15,000 academic e-book titles from 16 university presses around the world in 28 subject areas. Research that previously would have required a user to jump between a variety of books and websites to find scholarly content, can now be concentrated through the UPSO search engine. UPSO makes this scholarship easily accessible, discoverable, and cross-searchable via a single online platform.
Key Features Include:
- Filter results to view subject specializations or to find the latest scholarship in a selected field
- Save time with at-a-glance keywords and abstracts at both book and chapter levels
- Quickly build bibliographies with automatic exports citations to RefWorks, Endnote, Reference Manager, and ProCite
- Personalize by creating links to favorite books, chapters, and searches to cut down on research time
- Mobile optimized
