Gale enhances accessibility and usability in GVRL, InfoTrac and InContext products

Farmington Hills, Mich., Feb. 5, 2015 — In response to extensive user testing and usage data, Gale, part of Cengage Learning, will introduce a number of enhancements to its most widely-used product lines – GVRL, InfoTrac and In Context, including the optimization for mobile devices through responsive design. The adoption of a common design and toolset across all products will provide a unified experience as researchers move from one resource to the next, while other changes will enhance accessibility for those with disabilities and increase usability overall for desktop and mobile researchers. Gale announces several new collections for Artemis: Primary Sources platform

Farmington Hills, Mich., Feb. 3, 2015 — Continuing to connect researchers to treasured historical content, Gale, part of Cengage Learning, today announced several Gale Digital Collections for academic and special libraries around the world, including the next three installments of Associated Press Collections Online as well as Brazilian and Portuguese History and Culture: The Oliveira Lima Library. These new collections are available on the Gale Artemis: Primary Sources platform, giving researchers the ability to cross-search with other digital archives and access to graphing and search visualization tools that will help them explore the content in new ways. Gale has also completed the migration of several historical newspaper and periodical collections onto the Gale Artemis: Primary Sources platform, which now boasts more than 125 million pages of content.

Gale launches several new digital collections; adds to Gale Artemis: Primary Sources

Farmington Hills, Mich., March 26, 2014 — Gale, part of Cengage Learning and a leading publisher of research and education resources for libraries, schools and businesses, today announced the launch of several new Gale Digital Collections products for academic and special libraries, as well as additions to the Gale Artemis: Primary Sources platform.
