Oxford University Press offers free content for National Library Week

New York, NY, April 7, 2014–In celebration of National Library Week in the US (April 13 -19, 2014), a week taken to highlight the value of libraries and librarians, Oxford University Press (OUP) will be making all OUP online products, excluding journals, freely available in the US. This free access will begin on April 13 and end on April 19 at this url:

Access will be disseminated via a single username and password.

Gale offering free access to six resources for National Library Week

Gale, part of Cengage Learning, is celebrating National Library Week by offering free access to six highly-praised online resources for use by any library during National Library Week.  Free access runs through National Library Week, from April 10 to April 24, 2010. Librarians can download the widget to their homepage by visiting www.gale.cengage.com/NLW starting on April 10. Library patrons should look for the widget on their library’s homepage, which provides single-click access to these online resources.

Free Access to ebrary’s Library Center for one year

In support of U.S. National Library Week, April 13 to 19, 2008, ebrary is offering librarians, students and faculty in library science and related programs complimentary access to Library Center for one year.

The Library Center includes more than 85 full-text e-books covering topics such as digital library development, general collection development, and the history of libraries and librarianship, as well as illustrated guides from the U.S. Library of Congress.
