Out of the library and into the community: Academic librarians and community engagement

Going to ALA Annual next week?  Consider adding this panel to your schedule on Monday, July 1 at 8:30:  “Out of the library and into the community:  Academic librarians and community engagement.”  It is co-sponsored by the ACRL Women and Gender Studies Section and the Social Responsibilities Round Table.

I’m excited to be a part of this panel, and I look forward to discussing the role of academic librarians in the community with those that can attend!
