Limitations on the Rights of Owners - Displays and Performances in Face-to-Face Teaching
Section 110 of the Copyright Act outlines exemptions for public performances and displays in a number of settings. Section 110(1) allows for performances and displays in face-to-face teaching settings. If the performance or display is an audiovisual work, the copy must be a lawfully made copy.
