Applying Research Skills to Subject Disciplines: General Research

When you have completed Module 3: General Research you should be able to:
  • Identify general research resources and learn how to select subject specific databases.
  • Determine how to conduct a keyword and subject search in the Libraries' web site for books.
  • Describe the steps necessary to identify and access general research resources on the Libraries' web site.
  • Determine how to locate and retrieve information in two general research databases: Academic Search Premier and LexisNexis Academic.
