The Final DecisionIn June of 1915, after two years of litigation and legal stalls, the Supreme Court of Ohio ruled to sustain the Vonderheide Conservancy Act in its entirety. The Supreme Court’s decision included upholding the right of the Conservancy District to levy taxes, one of the major issues of debate. The court named E.A. Deeds of Dayton, Gordon Rentschler of Hamilton, and Henry M. Allen of Troy directors of the Conservancy District. |
