John Armstrong first came to Special Collections and Archives in University Libraries as a Public History graduate student. He stayed on as an intern and eventually became a part-time staff member, his second career after retiring from the United States Air Force.
After 14 years of service to the University Libraries, we’re still not ready to let him go. John plans to spend some time traveling with his wife, but will eventually return to SC&A as a volunteer. If you see John around the library, be sure to congratulate him.
