Collaborating for Student Success

Thanks to a collaboration with between the University Writing Center and University Libraries, students now have the opportunity to consult writing coaches and a librarian  when visiting the Writing Center. From learning to navigate databases to evaluating sources, library skills are important from the beginning of the research process.

Beginning this semester, students will find a librarian in the University Writing Center, Monday through Thursday, from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. in Wright State’s new Student Success Center, located next to University Hall. This beautiful building is home to new active-learning classrooms, as well as many student services – University College Academic Advising, First-Year Programs, Learning Communities, the Math Learning Center, Supplemental Instruction, Tutoring Services, the University Writing Center and more.

Can’t make it to the Student Success Center when a librarian is on duty? Remember you can always Ask A Librarian via chat, email, text and more.
