Month: January 2017

Scarf Frenzy is Back!

Many students come to Wright State from warmer climates, including overseas, and are unprepared for harsh Ohio winters. The Wright State Service Knitting and Crochet Circle, the Women’s Center and University Libraries would like to invite Wright State students to stop by the Dunbar Library 2nd floor atrium on January 27th and pick up a free scarf, hat or other warm winter accessory (many hand-made by the Service Knitting and Crochet Circle) while supplies last. Last year we provided over 100 items in less than 15 minutes, and we’re hoping to give away even more this year. We ask that students take only what they need.

If any Wright State staff, faculty or surrounding community members would like to donate items for this event, please contact Cindy Vanzant cindy.vanzant@wright.edu. Thank you for your support!
