WWI veteran Dewey Gibboney during the National Anthem on 11/11/84. He was one of the four WWI Vets at the ceremony to dedicate the walkway to the Vets. Memorial in the Highland Cemetary. His group of WWI vets from Shelby County donated $2,500 for the walkway
