Portion of an article attached to the back of this photo: “Log Cabin included on Greene Home Tour…It’s part of pilgrimage by historical society. Greene Homes Tour Slated Sunday: Four old homes and a log cabin will be open for visitation tomorrow afternoon when the Greene County Historical society holds its first annual pilgrimage…” In addition to the Galloway cabin, the other homes on the tour were: the Moorehead-King home (corner of Church and N. Detroit, Xenia), Mrs. Crampton Lott’s home (Stone Road, south of Xenia), Mr. and Mrs. Edward Blaum’s home (114 W. Xenia Ave. in Fairborn), and Mr. and Mrs. William Haugenbuchs’ log cabin (Bellbrook-Fairfield Road, just north of U.S. 35). Photo by Fred Lawson, Journal Herald.
