Special Collections & Archives will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016, in observance of Memorial Day. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday for remembering those who have died in service of the armed forces.

Special Collections & Archives is honored to hold and preserve materials documenting the lives, stories, and ultimate sacrifice of some of these men and women, including Clair W. Welty, Raoul Lufbery, and Lt. Thomas Selfridge. (Click on the links to learn more about each soldier’s story.)
