Celebrating African-Americans Who Helped Shape WSU- Part 2

In the 2nd installment of our series on the African-American experience at WSU, Carolyn Wright discusses the formation of the Bolinga Center, and the initial goals that were established for it to be not just a program for the African-American student community, but a true educational center for all students of the university, in promotion of cultural awareness and understanding, and as part of a more integrated academic program.

All excerpts in this series are taken from the 1991 video project, Profiles of African-Americans: Their Role in Shaping Wright State University, produced by by the College of Education & Human Services and Dr. Alyce Earl-Jenkins.
