About the ERC

The Charles and Renate Frydman Educational Resource Center (ERC) provides research and instruction materials, media, and equipment geared toward teacher education majors. The ERC is located on the 2nd floor of the Dunbar Library in room 210. We welcome all users to browse and study in this collection area anytime the library is open.

The ERC collection contains the following materials:

  • Professional Collection - Professional books for classroom instruction, fieldwork and research, picture books for children, and non-fiction materials to support the K-12 curriculum
  • Non-Print Collection – Kits, puzzles, games, models, puppets, media and DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks, and more
  • Textbook Collection – K-12 textbooks in a variety of subjects
  • Dayton Holocaust Resource Center

ERC materials are included in the University Libraries’ catalog. Most items circulate and may be borrowed by Wright State students, faculty, staff, and others, according to the Dunbar Library borrowing policies. Some materials are restricted to in-library use.

Additional recommended resources for education majors can be found on the Education research guide. For more information or questions, contact our librarians at Ask A Librarian.
