Printing & Copying

Wright State students and employees use their Wright1 Card to pay for printing and photocopying. Visitors must borrow or purchase a Guest PrintWright Card, available from the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor, to pay for printing and photocopying.

Printing

Black & white printers are available on the 2nd floor, and in the 3rd floor Group and Individual Study Rooms. Color printers are available on the 2nd floor.

Black and white printouts cost $0.10 per side. Color printouts cost $0.20 per side.

Library printers default to black & white, double sided printing. Color and/or single sided printing is available upon selection before sending the job to a printer.

Print jobs are directed to color coded pay stations. A sign on each computer monitor identifies the default pay station for your print job. You may direct your print job to a different pay station if you wish (e.g. color print jobs will go to the red or blue pay station).

After sending your job to the printer swipe your Wright1 Card at the pay station. Choose your print job from the touch screen to pay for your printout - print jobs are designated by name and user ID. Please logoff before leaving the pay station.

Help is available from the Information Desk on the 2nd floor, if you have trouble printing in the library.

Wireless Printing

Wireless printing is available for Wright State students and employees, and guests who connect to the wireless network. A Wright1 Card or Guest PrintWright Card is required to pay for printouts sent to a pay station through wireless printing.

If you experience issues with Wireless printing please contact CaTS help desk in the basement of the library.

Photocopying

The library has black and white photocopiers located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Color copiers are available at Wright Copy in the Student Union. Photocopier locations are noted on our floor maps. A Wright1 Card or Guest PrintWright Card is required for photocopying.

Photocopies are $0.10 per side.

Use the library scanners if you need pdf or document email services. (Please note that copiers do not include photocopy-to-pdf, photocopy-to-fax, or email-to-address services.)

Payment

Wright State students and employees use their Wright1 Card to pay for printouts and photocopies in the Libraries. If you do not have a Wright1 Card, you can borrow a Guest PrintWright Card from the Circulation Desk with your campus ID number. Cash is not accepted at printer or photocopier paystations.

If you need to add money to your Wright1 Card you can do so with cash, or credit/debit card, at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor. There is a deposit station on the 2nd floor (across from the elevators) which accepts cash. You can also add money to your card online by logging into WINGS and accessing Wright1 Card Services for Students. (Deposits may not show on your card immediately).
